Registration for the Summer class session is now open
Register below for our next session of 8-week classes which will begin the week of July 5 and run through the end of August. With this next round of classes we have a class for kids age 8-12. All the Adult classes are age 16+ to allow mature teens to join in. We do welcome and encourage people (of all ages) who want to work with clay but are not yet comfortable coming in to the studio to make work at home as well. Click here to go to a page describing the options for how we can facilitate clay play at home.
6/16 Update: We will not be able to add any additional classes for summer, and the waiting list is full. I am so sorry that we cannot make a wheel class available for you. As of today there are still a few seats available in the Sunday Coil Class. While working by hand is not as widely popularized on social media, it actually is a great introduction to working with clay and teaches you a lot of foundational skills that you can later use in conjunction with working on the potters wheel. Unless of course you fall in love with hand building and never get around to learning the wheel, as many do once they try it... Please join the mailing list to be notified of future classes.
COVID Safety Protocols: We are working on balancing the guidance from the CDC and WA DOH with ensuring we provide a safe and comfortable environment. As of today (6/8/21) we expect the below protocol to be in place for the summer session. However, please be prepared to continue to mask in the studio in case the guidance changes. We welcome your feedback via this survey if you would like to share your feelings about our masking policy in the studio.

- Because the City of Bellingham has reached the threshold of over 70% of people age 16+ having initiated their vaccination, fully vaccinated individuals may unmask in the studio if they feel comfortable doing so starting Tues 6/15.
- Unvaccinated people must continue to be masked regardless.
- Proof of vaccination will not be required, we will depend on those who are unvaccinated respecting the guidelines and continuing to remain masked to help protect those in the studio who are at higher risk. Individuals may always choose to remain masked for any reason.
