The below details provide information about the Summer classes. Registration will be Monday 6/20 at 6PM. Registration will be available on this website on the main Classes page.
We will have a variety of options to allow for kids to play with clay this summer, all lead by Sara Young.

We will have a variety of options to allow for kids to play with clay this summer, all lead by Sara Young.
- 8-week class, ages 6-11. Thursdays 3-4:30pm $150
- Kids will be introduced to hand-building techniques such as pinch, slab, and coil construction as well as various surface decoration techniques for adding color, pattern, and texture. Your child will have a wonderful time creatively exploring clay while learning new skills and making great friends! All tools and materials included in class fee. We have space for up to 14 kids in this class.
- 4-week wheel workshop, ages 11-15. Wednesdays & Thursdays 10-11:30 7/11-8/4 $210
- During this 4-week workshop, kids ages 11-15 will be introduced to basic pottery and wheel throwing. Sara will guide the class through wedging, centering, and forming a pot on the wheel, as well as basic glazing and surface design. We have space for up to 10 kids in this class.
- 1-week camp, 9:00 AM - Noon, Monday-Friday, $160
- Ages 12-14: Aug 15-19
- Ages 8-11: Aug 22-26
- Kids will spend the first hour and a half working in 2D, drawing, painting, and collage, then spend the next hour and a half working with clay. The camp will focus on basic skills while providing an open and judgement-free environment where they can explore their imaginations through art! At the end of the week the campers will have several two dimensional and three dimensional objects to bring home. Kids will not be using the pottery wheel during this camp. Each week will have 12-14 kids per session.
Masks:
- Masks are currently required for all people regardless of vaccination status. The mask policy may change during the class session if/when the current case rate drops to a safer level.
