An assortment of questions for you...

There are a few topics I am interested in your feedback on, and rather than doing multiple surveys I consolidated it into one. All questions/topics are optional so you can only complete the parts that feel relevant to you.

Classes

Is there a day/time that you wish we had a specific class? *

Is there a specific topic you would like an advanced class on? *

Mask Check-In

How are you feeling about masking these days? Looking at the big picture, on the one hand case rates and hospitalizations are holding steady at a really high rate - and we know case rates are even higher than what is reported since most people are primarily using home tests and do not necessarily report the results. On the other hand, so many places are not requiring masks any more. I want to keep protecting those who are at high risk, but are we at the point where high risk people can mask, but it is ok for them to be around others who are not? I continue to be torn on what the right decision is...

What do you think the mask policy should be at this point? *

Masks Required - N95/KN95 or Surgical Masks Required - but they could be fabric Masks Optional I can't decide...

If masks became optional in the studio, how would that impact your studio usage? *

I would not feel comfortable coming in at all I would come in during slow times but leave if it is busy I would come in MORE often No impact - I don't care either way

What is your risk level? *

I am at high risk for serious illness Someone I live with is at high risk for serious illness I am not at high risk for serious illness

Is there anything specific you want to share on this topic? *

Porcelain

I am considering replacing Mac as the main porcelain we stock for retail. We will continue to have B-Mix with and without speckle and OH6. Price listed below is with firing fees, after tax.

Summer Studio Challenge

The summer studio collaboration challenge theme is Under the Sea. Anyone can participate whether you are in your 1st class or a long time expert. We will show off the finished creations with an end of summer potluck in early September. If you would like to be randomly paired with someone, please provide your details below. You are also welcome to pick your own partner. Poly collabs welcome too: partner with as many people as you want to make as many pieces as you want.

Studio Glazes

It has been about 18 months since we did the in-depth glaze survey - at which point about half the respondents either loved or hated every glaze. It was funny how evenly split the answers were. I wanted to do another quick check in on glazes.
